Scirocco Central

Here is a quick installation guide. Keep in mind my car is a right hand driven one and dsg model year 2010.
On the left hand driven ones there will be a difference where you can guide the wiring from the engine bay to the inside of the car.
I also have the 5,5 liter washing bottle installed. It has a blanking plug which can be easily removed to fit the sensor.
Take a look if you have the blanking plug before performing this manual. It's possible you have to drill a hole and install a rubber washer (7M0 919 382) .
These steps are not mentioned in the installation guide.

my only concern is the pinning on the instrument cluster I have the mk5 cluster (red) not sure if the wiring is different or not to the white one?

I've just been through the circuit diagrams again, and it's the same pin on both the red and white MFD's.

It took me around 15mins to download everything for the Scirocco, so you have plenty of time to get what you need.

Thats interesting will give it a try. I thought it was read only and not possible to save.

Just a tip for anyone wanting to try this, I checked my washer bottle today, and there was no blanked off hole for the level sensor, just a marking to show where you should drill. It's worth checking before you order parts as you may end up with a more difficult job to fit the sensor.

Thanks for your update. I have put this information in the pdf file to first take a look at this sensor hole.
I think only the cars with oem xenons, winterpack or tdi's have the 5,5 liter washer bottles installed which has the blanking plug.

I used this manual to order all the parts needed for the fluid sensor. I already bought the holesaw because i thought i had to drill the hole on mine too.

Just got around to doing this, If people have the red dash with a 36 pin connector you will need to use pin 34, 17 was already occupied.
