This was amazingly perfect! Worked a treat instructiioms from wikepeadia.
2 more questions please,

- i wanna change the lighbulbs to 55 or 100 watt whites. Will i have any issues as in errors and stuff?
- i was trying to rev the car in neutral (manual) to see if there is any smoke but it wont go further than 2.5 rpm; am i right in thinking that its a safety feature? In driving position i can rev it to 3+ and i have no concerns re power delivery.

Thanks a lot in advance you are helping me out big time here, much appreciated.

1. The wiring and relays are designed for 55w so by changing the bulbs to 100w, you are almost doubling the current that the wiring and relays will be carrying, which is obviously a risk. If you want improved light output consider Osram Nightbreakers amd tje likes, which are 55w.

2. Yes, it's to stop numpties damaging the engine by revving with no load.

Another 2 questions please

On my gt i have the 18 interlagos with 235/40 but they seem lowish a bit to me, whats the max size tyres i can fot on the car without messing too much with the speedo and brake discs.

Also i have been looking at the LED DRLs Has anyone had any experience with that? Any specific ones in regards to faults?

Thanks again

When you say "lowish" are you referring to the profile? Tyre size does not affect brake discs in any way, only.a change of wheel style, size or offset could affect clearance to brake caliper. If you increase the profile you will affect the speedo reading.

Yes you are right. I meant profile. Increasing profile will affect speedo but i wanted to find out whether other folks use anything other than the 235/40 profile on the 18s and ehether ots common.

Stick to the correct tyre size - in the worst case it could have insurance implications....

Lads i have been looking for matte black badges for the roc but am struggling to find any uk sellers specific to the roc badges. All the rest are in hong kong. Are the badge sizes (front +back) the same as say the golf v or vi?
