2000:1 ? that would be just 5ml ( one of those little medicine spoons) in a big 10l bucket ! - im not using the AF Illusion stuff , but at that rate - a bottle would last forever !

I've been using AutoGlym Shampoo and the instructions quote 20ml of product per 10 litres of water (500:1) . This seems very much on the weak side to be honest , so i've typically been using more like 40ml (250:1) - this seems about right for decent suds and leaves no 'film' once rinsed.

This Meguires shampoo seems to get some pretty good reviews - so I've just bought myself a 1.89litre bottle of Gold Class , but the usages are all in imperial. The bottle states 4 cap fulls ( 1 ounce) per gallon.
Assuming thats a US Fluid ounce (29.5ml) , and a US gallon (3.78L as opposed to a UK Gallon which equals 4.54L) - then this equals 80ml per 10L water (125:1)

Thats 4 times as much as AG recommend for their shampoo and double what i'd expect for decent suds ??

10 litres of water is a fair amount , but i know exactly what 10 litres looks like - a 'dash' of shampoo is a lovely description , but a bit hard to quantify - lol

Illusion is the wax. Lather is the shampoo. . It does seem a bit optimistic tbh but I have used 10ml per wash and found it effective still. I like how it's ph neutral and wax safe. No nasty gloss enhancers aswell.. I have heard good things about Meg's wash though. Usually on 3for2 at halfords so keep an eye out

Hmm, its their instructions but I would suggest half that - one or two capfuls maximum - its very foamy stuff, believe me!
