Im sorry forgot to answer i see. On pre facelift 13 is cornering light and on facelift cornering light works via canbus.

I still made not much progress I spliced pin 13 into pin 4 and corner lights error were gone but still afs bend light error and fault code won't delete, what do you mean by cornering light on facelift working via can bus ?

thanks hope to finish this soon the light error on dash is annoying would like to complete this project

Static corner light is 11 on Facelift

need to change from 13 to 11

On mine pin 11 is shutter on facelift and 08 the small led city light.
I had the shutter wire on pin 8 because of the wiring diagram and then i didn’t work out.

There is some mixing up between high beam output, cornering lights(static) and shutter and the wiring diagram
Isn’t also helping it. I also don’t know how the small led light is normally turned on as a city light because T52a/5, T52C46, t52c48 and t52c49 are all momentary outputs.

Pre facelift xenon cecm and bcm: Pin 13 static cornering light from T52a/5 and T52C/46 and pin 11 shutter from T52C/48 and T52C/49. Cornering lights controller with byte 23. How the cornering lights were coded with bcm i don’t know.

Pre facelift halogen bcm: Pin 13 high beam from T52a/5 and T52C/46

Facelift xenon bcm: Cornering lights controller by canbus, shutter pin 11 from T52C/48 and T52C/49

Facelift H7 have corner light to fog ligt, not in headlight.

Hmm weird. How have you wired the small led light and what coding?
And did you get the dimming to work?
Pin 10 is city/side light and 12 drl.
If i wire them normally the led strip doesnt turn on.
But that is because of dimming setting that is to low and have to change that with vcp.

the smal dot is wired to BCM A7 and A8
Big DRL is wired to C26 and A44

I have them swapped, is your dimming working?
And what how do you have connected side light wiring?

no diming is not working, but with VAG helper i can adjust the DRL and the Dot separate

what yoe mean with side light? static corner light?

Ok, i the mean output that is connected to pin 10 on your headlight.

Pin 10 i use the color wire from my old Parking light. The light thats in the indicator.

Parking light i meant this with city/side light sorry.
But that comes from c26 and a44 also.
That is also possible because it will put 12v on pin 10 and 12 so it will turn on.
And you can have drl function via the parking lights with byte 15 bit 6.

i Retrofit my old Xenon with kufatec adapter, where i put A7/ 8 and C 48/49 new in.

i yust look at the Wire Diagram from BCM

A7 DRL left
A8 DRL right
A44 Parking light right
C26 Parking light left

Ok then we have almost the same setup only didn’t connect the small led.
But ill leave the dimming for what it is. Im happy with 100% brightness.

Pin 8 on headlight i took it from t52c/48 49 and works. I Mess with vcds and you can activate them when you turn the small led when you turn the high beams on or you can leave them on. The only thing i dont know if its normal is when i activate the parking lights the headlight drl and the bumper drl are both activated.

The Facelift Scirocco dont have Bumper Parking light.

I wire the Bumper Parking light to the headlight smal dot.

If you dont do this, this is normal until you deactivat the bumper parking light witch VCP and VAG helper

Where in vcds did you turn the small led on? On golf t52c/48 and 49 are shutter wires.
What do you use for shutter T52a/5 and t52c/46 same as high beam output for halogen and cornering on the xenon pre-facelift ?

yeah I'm even more confused now ,

my shutter works as it is no change required from preface lift bi xenon.. I also have the led square working pin 8 ( I wired straight to pin 10 or 12 (the led strip on headlights ) and its on all the time when the led is on )

im just stuck now I don't know what to do.... I wired pin 13 into pin 4 and corner lights errors are gone but sometimes they come back..
I have the fault for rear level sensor its basically saying short to ground (doest read it ) but it is 100% working cos when I disconnected it completely I got a fault in suspension module saying it was short/ground
I connected it back then fault cleared in suspension , the fault is only in headlights afs module..

ok so do you think I should completely rewire pin 1& 2 straight to my bcm and pin 4 to 12v? roy what do you recommend I do ?

and Marius I saw you also have discovery media mib 2 retrofitted would you be Nice enough to send me your long coding for it ? as mine is hacked version but shows no info on the bytes for the long codingand my dynaudio sound a little distorted think I have vw amarok settings at the moment
