chattering windows

Post by veeedubba »

My 2 half year old 2.0 litre tsi visited the stealers today to try to get to the bottom of the mysterious window problem that has got worse and worse especially when reversing out of a parking spot. The windows open and close by half and inch (chatter) very quickly until the automatic door lock kicks in and then it stops (both windows). The window then fails to drop normally when exiting the car. After having the car all day the dealer agreed with me that there was a problem???????????????????? Booked in for next week with a courtesy car as the stealer says it could be a long job as it looks like a wiring fault. Anyone had anything similar or have any ideas?
