What have you blagged cos your dealer is rubbish

Hi All,

Thought It'd be interesting to get a thread of what people have blagged on top of their original deal, as a result of complaining to their dealer about the service they have received. I'd like an idea of what other dealers have been prepared to offer to keep the customer happy.

I ordered my car 29 June, and still don't have it. My main complaint has been about the lack of the communication from my dealer, and the lies they have told me when I have managed to get hold of them.

So far, I've got 2 years free servicing chucked in, but given todays conversation (which I instigated), where I was told I could be waiting another few weeks, despite last friday being told I should have it by Weds 11th, I'm thinking of pushing harder to get more.

Paid £19500 for mine, cash, didn't even get mats for that price. For some reason it came with 17 inch "Spa" wheels which I think are Passat Sport wheels. I have done 30 000 miles and worn out the tyres and then picked up new 18 inch Interlagos wheels with tyres on ebay for £500 (Wheel Worx), so all in all I think I got a good deal!

I got leather and Sat Nav for free (in exchange for accepting 17" Spa Alloys, which I've replaced with 19" RS6 reps).

I got the parking sensors and mats and that was it. Wouldn't even give me a full tank of juice or a £22 model car!
