Hi all.
On Sunday I had my rear discs and pads replaced on my Scirocco. After the first drive, they were smelling and hot to touch. I went out again on a 10 mile round trip and they were smoking. Monday, after a 22 mile round trip commute to work, they were fine. Tuesday, slightly hotter to touch than usual. Wednesday, hot to touch and smoking when I arrived at work (11 miles), fine on the way home. I have done some of the usual bedding in procedures.
My question is, should I be concerned? I have a long trip due this week and I want them to be right. I don’t want them to get smoking hot on a 160 mile trip.
The pads and discs are OEM standard Brembos

Thanks
