Defective ESP button, 09’ Scirocco 2.0 Tsi Help!

Hi guys!

I need some help with this. When the ESP is ON its working fine, when I push it OFF the ESP flashing in the speedo, i have check what comes up in a carshop, and it say that the button is defect, and its going to repair it for free! But would that fix do something with the remap/chiptuning on the car?

And shall i fix it?

I hate the esp on since the way it works when i go for trackday since yeah on 4000 rpm on 2 and 3 the esp kicks in also at normal road! So hate the esp since i better control of the car than i need the esp button on!
