Like the idiot I am i thought it would be a good idea to wash my car key.
The key design is the type that only let's me easily access the battery.
Upon putting the Key in the airing cupboard and changing the Battery the Remote operation returned.
Unfortunately this has not transpired to be a permenant fix. The key seems to dissipate the Charge in the Battery as 2 days later it was dead. Another new battery, Same 2 days working and dead (again)
Am i just going to have to bite the bullet & get a new key ordered & coded?
