Grinding metal sound from engine

Been going off for a while now. Grinding metal sound from engine when accelerating. Seems to be more in low revs. Any ideas?

Does the noise happen when in neutral as well as in gear? That would eliminate a transmission.

Also, can you record the noise and post it here?

No only when moving under load in low revs. Seems to be more in 3rd and 4th gear. And yeah I'll try record it later today [emoji106]
