Interior heating

Post by paddyz1 »

Does anyone know if there are heat sensors in any of the ducting from the heater, as in the side vents next to the doors and above radio. Also the footwell ducting.
I am having heating issues where it is very hot or very cold. There is no inbetween.
Thanks

Pop the side panels off the dash (where the fuse box is), there's a small wire going to a grey plug.
The grey bit is the sensor, it twists 1/4 turn then pulls down.

Not sure if this is the same on all versions of heating/air-con, but there's one either side on my car which has dual zone climatronic. Part Number is - 1K0907543E

I'm not 100% sure, but i think the sensor should read around 10kOhms at 25*C.
