Water in door

Post by Sebback »

When during rain I open the door and water starts flowing out around the screw that sits on the bottom of the door around the door stop just under it, is there a drainage that's blocked somewhere? I don't think that's supposed to happen...

Can't post a picture because of file size...

Now that looks familiar ! My car does a similar thing in this weather, but I am thinking we have an accumulation of water on the outside of the car, maybe along the black rubbing strip near the bottom of the door. When the door opens, the level shifts and the water runs out (maybe?)

I must have a look at this and concentrate on the outside of the door to see if that is the source or not.

Yeah it's really weird, there's no water coming from passenger door though.. but I don't believe it's supposed to happen like that, might be a drainage or something that's blocked :?

Something with the rubbering?
Maybe water went in when the windows were open a bit?
