Sunroof only works with key

I activated via OBD long press on key to open sunroof since it doesn't open with the normal switch to see if it's the switch or the sunroof itself.

It works fine with the key, just not with the switch. Anyone else have this issue or can shed some light on how to fix it?

From your description, it sounds like the switch so first thing to do is check the wiring to it or swap the switch out.

I'm not aware of it being a common issue. Check the wiring and connections to the switch, preferably with a multimeter. If you are not familiar with electrics, have someone who is have a look at it for you. It will be something simple.
