My Scirocco won’t start after accident HELP!

My Scirocco won’t start after accident HELP!

Hi wondering if anyone faced a similar problem an can help, I had an accident and after the accident it did start and cut off but now it just turns once and there’s a click turn sound but it never goes further, the battery is fine I even have used the Halfords jump pack so I’m not sure where to start????

Check the connection from the battery to the starter motor and solenoid and the corresponding earths. It sounds as if the starter motor isn't getting enough current and as a consequence is stalling. If you feel confident, you can attach the jump pack directly across the starter motor to see if it will spin and confirm it's not jamming once it's engaged with the flywheel.
