Dsg clunk

Post by Karlhawke321 »

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyones had a similar problem etc, I have a 2.0 tri 170 dsg scirocco.

I've had it for about 3 years but recently its started clunking in to gears whilst stationary. When it's on the move the gear changes are perfect. It's just a load ish clunk mainly going for "P" to "D" or "D" to "R". Changing between drive and sport theres no clunks. Has anyone had anything like this or want to share any info on it?

Thanks in advance

Karl

Ps. I've tried doing the old dsg reset by holding the throttle down for over 10 seconds etc etc but there no change.

It's possibly worth changing the DSG oil and filter, if they haven't been done recently along with going through the DSG adaption procedure, if you have access to VCDS.
