Slight clicking noise when braking

Post by Scuby »

What's the most common causes of the brakes making a clicking or springy noise when braking at low speeds?

If the brakes are standard then it could be the pads moving within the caliper due to worn or missing retainer springs.

You can get a clicking sound if you have drilled / dimpled or grooved discs fitted.

Well the disks and pads was replaced a month ago so I wouldn't want to think it was anything to do with them ... Could it?
