Hi guys can anyone help me out.
I have a 2010 scirocco with dcc suspension. My passenger side rear shocker has gone and the noise it is making is unbearable. These things cost a fortune from the local VW dealer.
I have found a breaker that has a 2015 scirocco with two rear shockers available.
Any idea if these would fit the 2010??
The part numbers are different but hoping they fit.
Both cars are 2.0 tdi engines aswell.
Help!! Rear shockers from breaker

Maybe if you write down the part number you have under it now and the one coming from the donor car will help answer your question. You can always ask VW for advice.
If they don’t sell your part number anymore then the newer part number will replace it with same specifications.
When they still sell it stick with the same part numbers.

You can check the part numbers on this site;
http://www.oemepc.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If the part has been updated and backward compatible they normally just update the letter at the end of the part number.
If the 2015 parts are off a car with DCC then I cannot think of a reason why they would not fit
