Dashcam wiring into the fuse box?

Post by Zanic L3 »

I came across this thread on the mk7 golf forums. Has someone tried it did it work (with the tools listed above)? Is it identical to the Scirocco?

The camera I'm looking to get is Xiaomi Yi Dashcam.

Better is to just put in a new fuse and wiring.

I would not recommend guiding the wiring through the door seal.

I guides my wiring across the roof lining and down the door seal without issue. Then tapped into the wiring in the drivers door fuse box. Easy and looks very neat. Nothing visible.
