Bt audio Bluetooth function disabled

Post by Lewis-deh »

Hi everyone! Just picked up my new Scirocco today! Early 2010 1.4 tsi and didn’t properly test out the screen interface on the head unit before purchasing. Basically BT audio is greyed out and cannot select Bluetooth devices..any idea why this is as the steering wheel has the phone controls. Do I need to acquire a later model unit or is it an easy fix..

Thanks guys

Your car does not have Bluetooth. It only became standard in late 2011. Prior to that it was a cost option.

The OEM BT is not incorporated into the headunit but is a plug in external module that is located under the driver's seat (RHD).
