2018 Sirroco or not

Post by homeform »

Hi Guys ,

Bits and pieces on here about trying to buy a new Roc and dealers not taking orders due to end of model run.
Also the Auto Car piece about a poss electric one. Which may or may not appear.
Their Capri relaunch never happened!

So do we know if there's going to be 2018 version or will there be a gap until a new model appears?

Found some pages about a possible 1.8 version but that's about it.

Any ideas in what's going on?

Thanks

I don't believe theres going to be a new scirocco soon. They'll take time I believe the electric concept was for 2022 no?

There isn't an imminent replacement to the Scirocco. The electric concept Scirocco was just one of Autoexpress mock ups based on no factual evidence.

More money in SUVs. I don't think we'll see a new Scirocco until at least 2022,

The end of an era. Soon to have all petrol and diesel replaced with electric.

As long as I can get a used 2017 Scirocco R with low mileage in the next 3 years I'll be happy!

Might take a bit of hunting. I doubt too many have been sold. I've barely seen any facelift models on the road of any spec.

Does that mean in 2 decades time, my Candy white will become a collectors item? Like a Lancia Delta HF Intergrale?
