Post by Chezand »

hi all can someone help , just had my 20ltr tdi 140 moted , sadly failed on leaking shock , my question is if i replace my std shocks with coil overs ect will have a fault on the dash if the electronic ones are unplugged ? is there a way around this ? or does it not throw a fault when unplugged , also any advice on what coil overs to fit dont want the car too low as i have some tall speed bumps around where i live , thanks in advance

Yip, if you fit coilovers and lose the electronic dampers you will get a fault. The light on the switch will just flash. You could just unplug the switch if it annoy you.

If you decide to replace with another OEM shocker, it's good practice to replace in pairs.
