Can anyone tell me wot the three red markings on my springs mean, as I need a replacement

VAG uses various colour codes on their springs to define such things as spring rate, dimensions etc..., however I've yet to see a chart or document which decodes it.

Your best bet is to buy an OEM from TPS or VW dealer based on the car VIN / Registration.
