I've asked previously but maybe I need to be more specific.
With a car looking to be tuned to 450-500hp what are people's views on fuel pumps, fuel regulators coil packs?
I've decided I will be getting a Loba HPFP, but unsure on what else. I heard there has been issues with oem RS4 parts and various feedback that the red coil packs are no different.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Fuel delivery upgrades
As we speak on PM,
A upgraded LPFP is also neccesary when going after those numbers.
Im using a RS3 LPFP but i know there is some other choice you could go for.
Also the Fuel Pressure Valve (FPV) needed to be upgraded to handle over 140 bars pressure.
Im still running on OEM coilpacks but i think the R8(?) coilpacks are popular?

Re: Fuel delivery upgrades
Thanks for the advice.
So far my research on vehicles running around the 500hp mark the following parts are being used without issue:
RS4 or RS3 pressure relief valve (over 140psi)
KO4 later Bosche OEM high pressure injectors
APR LPFP with wiring and ECU
APR, Loba or Autotech HPFP
I have spoken to 3 TFSI 500+hp tuners who all stated the RS4 injectors were not needed at this level of tune. One tried and took them off due to constant fuelling issues and the all agreed they cause smoke due to spray pattern.j

Re: Fuel delivery upgrades
I was at Regal Autosport today and spoke about fuel delivery. They have an oem LPFP alternative to the RS3 and RS4 options. They stated the unit they can provide uses the correct voltages to eliviate over heating and is capable of supporting 580hp. They won't tell me what it is so just wondered if anyone else knows what it is? Maybe it's an R8 pump?

coil packs
As part of the fuel delivery I'm looking into coil packs. A lot of people swear by the R8 type red coil packs and they seem to look better built, although I can't find any vag data showing the difference. Some threads even have people saying the latest 2015 models coil packs are the same, just in a different colour. As usual my local dealer have been asked the question but are not in a rush to come back with an answer.
After some investigation into the 600hp+ Sciroccos out there with additional injectors it appears some including the 800hp one are using Okada coil packs.

Anyone tried these out?
