Firstly don't think for one minute that it would replace a proper wash... :shake:
Secondly did you just say sponge!!! :fall:  invest in a lambs wool wash mitt

This is something I have got and used. Wasn't impressed so it's rare that I snow foam the car any more. I found it kind of useful in the winter months and to remove light dust during the summer but that's it. Nothing amazing. Not worth it in my eyes.

A simple pre wash using something like auto finesse citrus power or valet pro citrus pre wash i find is more effective and less messy. Simply spray all round the car leave for 5mins then blast off with pressure washer.

Personally I think snow foaming isnt worth the mess and time it takes to do nothing.
Must admit it looks cool though

Competely agree with whitedevil as i used to snow foam all the time and found its fun but not soo effective. Also its super messy and a bit hit and miss in my opinion.

I use valetpro citrus prewash in a 1:8 ratio before my shampoo wash and it removes 80% of the baked on dirt and grime and does wonders on birdpoo.

Also i use an incredimitt. Have a look on google. One of the best products i have along with my wheel woolies

Hope this helps mate

I use Auto Finesse Avalanche snow foam (which I believe is a product with the same sort of ingredients as their Citrus Power pre-wash) before every wash.

Whilst I agree it can never replace a full wash, I do think it has a place in my wash routine. I find it does lift a top layer of 'loose' dirt, which is very helpful for me as I have to park next to a row of trees at work, so there's all sorts of crap on my roof by the end of the week.

I also like to foam the wheel arches and after rinsing away I find the water on the floor is filthy...so it must be doing a job there.

It does take a bit of time, but I tend to foam the car and leave it to dwell whilst I fill my wash buckets and get my various brushes and bottles out.

Best thing to do is try one out if possible. If not then it is a good (and certainly less expensive) idea to try out a couple of the pre-wash products mentioned, and see if they do the job for you.
