temparary rocco insurance

Hi guys

Just tried a few short term insurance sites to cover me for a couple days if I buy the rocco I'm off to see tomorrow, problem is when I enter the reg it finds the right car but says it they can't offer temp insurance on it. Most annoying is aviva are one of them but will insure the car normally.
Am I missing something? I've used temp cover before to bring my first 350z home without an issue so I expected a diesel rocco to be no problem at all.
Any of you used temp cover to get a car home? If so who with?

Short term cover is more of a specialsit product these days - Google for 'temporary car insurance' and that will bring up some sites that do it.

Cant recall havibg any trouble esp with churchill. They do temp cover daily or weekly. Try them.

Take out a full year's policy then cancel within the 14 day cooling off period?

I had a weeks temp insurance from the VW dealer I bought from which was really good.

Thanks for the responses. I found one in the end. £31 for a day was the cheapest.
Didn't buy the car though so I didn't use it lol
