CAN bus light fault

Post by stevenjock »

Hello All,

Can someone help with my lights, I bought Halfords XENON HID Bulb (STYLE 477) Upgrade Pack after one of my headlights failed, but now I have the Lighting fault warning light showing on the dash I checked that the LED side lights are CAN bus comapatible (which they are) and had no problems fitting them, same goes for the main bulds fitted no problems but alas still have the warning light showing.
I have done the obvious checks, made sure they have located securly and bulbs are in place has anyone got any advice?

Many thanks.

I had this, put the side light bulb so it's 180 % round more & put it back in, it wil work either way but will leave a fault if put in wrongly !

Cheers Skollers

Turns out that the halfords CAN BUS LED light are just rubbish! I bought some new ones off the net and discovered the polarity problem so your advise was not in vain thanks.
