Lewis is my favourite driver by far. However I thinks its well deserved & would be great for the sport if Red bull & Mark won the drivers championship.

Yeah I'd really like to see Webber win it but I have a feeling he'll be pipped at the post.

Suzuka qualifying postponed to Sunday

Qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday morning following torrential rain at Suzuka on Saturday.

Storms at the track that intensified over the day meant it was never safe to let Formula 1 drivers attempt to set grid times.

Despite several time delays to try and wait for a window in the weather, the FIA said at 3.18pm local time that qualifying would now be shifted back to Sunday morning.

A new track inspection will take place at 9:30am tomorrow, with qualifying to start at 10am - five hours before the start of the race.

It is the first time since the 2004 Japanese Grand Prix that a qualifying session has had to be abandoned and shifted back to Sunday.

Qualifying for the 2004 event also took place on 9 October, and it was Michael Schumacher who secured pole position on Sunday.
I hope no one is wanting to go anywhere on sunday lol (assuming the weather improves in time for this schedule)

Ferrari International Assistance at it again.

How was Massa's a racing incident? If he didn't go onto the grass he would not have flown over the curb out of control and take out Liuzzi! Yet Petrov gets done wiv 5 place penalty.

Hmm.

RBR showing off now i think.

I think cos the merc on his outside basically shut him out whereas Petrov just swiped the Hulk out of the race.

he wasn't that shut out.
from my view of those shots of petrov/hulkenburg... they were wheel to wheel & hulkenburg caught petrov on his front wing causing him to spin round

Petrov yes storming start got his calcs wrong went left when hulks car was still there and got spun round.

Massa....he wasn't gonna get to the inside of the corner, he should/could have braked earlier knowing the Merc was gonna get there first. There was no room. but no, he decided to take to the grass for some unknown reason and take out the Force India car.

Both were avoidable accidents so why Petrov was only one to get punished is beyond me.
