Code: Select all

Race Date: 29 Aug 2010

Lap Record: 1:45.108 - K Raikkonen (2004)

The Grand Prix circus returns to Spa after an absence of a year due to failed negotiations over tobacco advertising.
In every sense one of the classics on the calendar. A circuit both spectacular and emotive; La Source hairpin, the downhill plunge to Eau Rouge, the forest setting and the longest lap distance in the World Championship.
But the weather and size of the track means it can be problematic for drivers. It can be dry in one place and wet in another.
Some of the course follows public roads, but the track boasts excellent facilities for teams, officials and media. It has been the home of the Belgian Grand Prix on a permanent basis since 1985.

Should be a cracking race. Be even better if it rains too.

Why is Vettel alowed to continue driving? He's caused 2 accidents so far, a total liability.

plus had his car bashing wheels with someone in the pit lane (not sure who was released into who in that case though)
its showing he is a spoilt brat who is now throwing his toys out of his pram.

(not sure whats its like with you Mike but i've got hail stones, thunder & lightening here at Wym!)

He bashed wheels wiv alonso in pits. The guy needs some overtaking lessons I think. Wayyyyyy too aggressive and bang out of order. Gutted for jenson should have been mclaren 1-2.

Webber must be laughing tho at sebs antics again.

But why didn't massa get penalised for being 2m in front of his starting position? Ferrari International Assistance at it again?

He bashed with Alonso.

Cracking race. It always is at Spa, moreso when it rains.
I thought Hamilton had messed it up with 2 to go though.

Vettel has almost turned a 5 horse race in to a 2 horse race now.

Just very black clouds and rain here trix, I hope it clears up for tomorrow, I'm at a Pistonheads meet at Lavenham Fete, and I spent the morning polishing the Boxster for it.
