Please don't shoot me down in flames, I'm not considering a swap to one of these but looking at the figures (195hp & over 53mpg) this could provide some competition to anyone considering a TD 170 Rocco

Re: Twin Turbo Astra Diesel
trouble is it will be worth about 10p after three years, however, VW need to up their gain on the diesel offering to attract the petrol head as for me i'd be going down the BMW route

Re: Twin Turbo Astra Diesel
I actually prefer the Old looking Astra's. The old VXR ones. They're the best looking Astras ever imo.
Re: Twin Turbo Astra Diesel
Going to a VXR event next month to rag the Corsa / Astra / Insignia versions round a track for a couple of hours.
Saw the new Astra VXR at Oulton Park last weekend. 20inch rims..... Looked alright.

Re: Twin Turbo Astra Diesel
I'd wouldn't trust vauxhalls figures, mate of mine had an insignia diesel that wa quoted average 55mpg a he was lucky to get 35!! He didn't rag it everywhere either.
