Peugeot 1.6 thp engine, anyone know it?

Wifes got a 1.6 thp engine in her pug 207cc, the other day she told me the car seemed to have lost power, I took it out yesterday and it was if the turbo wasnt there, I was giving it some power wise and after about 5 inutes of driving the tirbo seemed to cut back in, I took it to work last night and all was still well, but this morning on the way home it started doing the same thing.
Any help/ideas appreciated!

It seems a trip to the dealership may be on the cards...
