Changing RNS in scirroco

Post by anishjoshi10 »

Hi Guys

new here and looking to get a scirocco next month with about a 10.5k budget. I've seen some lovely 2.0 TDI GT in my price range with leathers etc... but some don't come with RNS 510, which have dvd, nav etc..

Is it a straight forward plug and play if i was to purchase a genuine rns510, and will it automatically hook up to my dashboard because i know the nav links to the dashboard display if i'm correct?

sorry if this has been posted before.

Regards

I've done and it is plug and play, I haven't done the coding to get it to work with MFD yet, but it works with factory Bluetooth without coding, and also the steering controls

Useful to know as I am looking at one or two cars that don't have the 510 unit so I would want to upgrade to one. cheers
