After a full week of playing about with different configurations etc, they have settled on this system.
And I tell you, it is rather surprising!

3" pipework from DP to Single Centre Silencer.

Optional OEM look Oval tail pipe in Chrome (as shown below) or in Ceramic Coated Black.

I'll do a full report next month when I've driven it abit more as the car is being loaned to another company for product development, so there will be another Forum Exclusive soon

The system on at the moment is a Cat Back, 3" pipework with a single centre silencer! There is NO BACK BOX anymore!

Originally they were going to put 2 mini cans in like the race system on a certain Mk6 GTI out there

The drive back down was interesting. The system is 2 faced almost. Oh leaving Milltek i thought holy moly this is a loud system lol. Under load you really do get to hear the exhaust now. 3k rpm, 3rd gear, oh my word!

But cruising on the motorway at 70-80 in 5th/6th, you don't hear it at all. It's almost quieter than OEM at that speed. Amazing when you think there is just the centre silencer on there. But put your foot down and oh yes.

It's a very different sound to the OEM system. More race like, but it gives the "Racing" element to the R badge a bit more emphesis that's for sure.

For the tail pipe finish there will probably be 2 shapes with 2 finishes. 4" Round (known as GT 100mm) or OEM Oval. Both can be had in Polished Chrome or Ceramic Coated Black finish. The one fitted on mine is the 4" Rounds in Black.
Prices yet to be determind. But expect it to be less than the normal Non Resonated versions as this has even less metal so should be slightly cheaper.

First batch of 17 made and sold to dealers already!
So there you have it. Milltek Sport Cat Back Exhaust System for the Scirocco R. You heard it all here first, on Scirocco Central.

Oh, the static noise test showed it to produce around 86db. Stock it was 77db. Wigit's Cat Back on his GT was 80db I think. Bit of comparison for you.
