Sunroof sunshade

Post by john_char »

I just typed a huge question but it got lost when submitting.

Try again, but more abbreviated:

Anyone replced their sunshade. Mine is cactus and is $1000 Aussie to buy OEM.

Some input would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Well I managed to get the sunshade out. It was a whole lot easier than I thought.

All you had to do is removed the sunroof, which ended up being only 8 screws.

The sunshade itself was ratshit, new one ordered from aliexpress for $60 USD. Better than the $1000 quoted for the sunshade only!!!

Phots to come.

Nice job, $1000 for a sunshade is ridicolous.
Some pictures would be great!
Mine is also broken. Is it difficult/heavy to lift the glas out?

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Having issues with pics at the mo.

The glass was easy for me to remove by myself, like I said before, just 8 bolts, 4 on each side for the glass sunroof, then the sunshade is self explanatory.

Cheers.
