R-Line Exhaust tip

Post by Wozza_York »

Hi I’m wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction for 2 stainless exhaust tips for my scirocco 2.0 TDI
R-Line. Checked eBay and they are all saying (exclude R)

Thank you

I would imagine the "excludes R" reference is for the R model with single tailpipes on either side of the car and not applicable to the R-Line model, which I believe has the same exhaust layout and tips as the other models therefore the ones you are seeing will probably fit. In the past people used the aftermarket tips for the Skoda Yeti as they are a good fit.

My 2011 TDI (170) came from the factory with stainless steel tips, so double check your car doesnt have them and they just need cleaned :)

Hi thanks for the reply. No definitely not. I really do not understand why a 65 plate 2.0 TDI R-Line ultra violet with all spec do not come with stainless tips!!

Here is the ones I have seen:

I think it’s the difference between the the 148 and 184bhp. My 2015 148 R-line also came without the stainless tips and I’ve seen a few others like it too.

Hi just thought would update..

Well I bought some tips off eBay £12.99 free delivery!
Unsure on the fitting so any advise would be appreciated.
does the exhaust meant to stop on the tip clips? Or are they meant to be fully bent down so the exhaust slides right to the end of the tip if your With me?
Although is is very tight so it’s not going anywhere.

It really depends on whether you want the tips to protrude from the bumper or not. Personally, I would slide them on as far as they can go.
