Battery opinions
Hello guys i need your help! My battery just died and i want to buy a new one but i don't know which type of Ah to choose. The stock is 63 Ah.If i replace it with more Ah, that would be a problem; I think bosch S5 77Ah 780cca is good choice if it fits to the stock box.

Re: Battery opinions
Ah stands for Amp hours. It's how many amps a battery can provide, in theory, for an hour.
so 77Ah is 77amps, for an hour.
The car will only draw how much current (amps) it needs. Having more at the battery end of things can only be a good thing, within reason (weight, cost, size).
What matters a deal for cars is the peak amp providing capabilities of the battery. At startup the starter motor may draw a spike in current to physically turn the engine over that could exceed 100Amps. But this is for a split second only. Do not confuse this peak current requirement with Amp Hours.
To be HONEST you'd be hard pressed to find a budget battery struggle starting the majority of cars. However you may place value in brand name and perceived reliability, actual or theoretical.
Hope that helps

Re: Battery opinions
I replaced my OEM battery with a Bosch S5 096 and it has been spot on. Make sure you shop around as the price varies quite a bit.
