Standard R exhaust - does it pop/gurgle?

I'm hoping to upgrade to an R this year, and I'm wondering what I should be expecting from the exhaust sound. My GT (with DSG) makes a nice "parp" when it upshifts, but I've never managed to produce any popping or gurgling.

Does the standard R exhaust pop/gurgle?

EDIT: I should say that I'm more interested in pops/gurgles during actual driving, not free revving (there are plenty of videos of that on Youtube).

I have a manual one and if I have it in high revs in 2nd or am doing about 70mph on the motorway and lift off then I definitely get a brief burbling from the exhaust - the DSG might be different

Thanks! I'm guessing the DSG will probably sound the same (in manual mode).

The DSG R has the typical DSG fart when giving it the beans, it does sound good. No pops/bangs or crackles though. You can get this "mapped in" if you decide to de-cat by a decent mapper. On a side note, the stock R exhaust sounds very very good. Nice deep throaty tone.

Apparently there is now a map for the Rocco R that give me more gurgles on pops on the over run, Has anyone had this done?
