Last check - Fitting wheeels

Post by Veratio »

I promise this will be my last post about wheels, except maybe to show them off on this Forum! ;)

Found some great looking wheels, 20", for my 2016 R.

Rims: 8,5x20, 5/112, ET35, CB 66,5
Wheels: 235/30R20 (Vredestein)

I have two concerns. First. Will they fit. Secondly. Is there any chance to fit 245/30? I do not have setting on my chassi.

The thing I am worried about is scratching the rims since the tires are thin, fatter tires might help with that.

Thank you again for a great Forum. Learned alot here!!

You will need spigot rings as the centre bore is 57.1mm on the Scirocco.

They will fit but whether they will rub on the wheel arch with 245/30 I can't comment.

I hear you!

I think I will go with the 235s. I just need to be careful around the curbs. ;)

Thank you very much for your response sir!

Now the order has been laid. Can´t wait to get them. Will be quite an upgrade from my stock 18 inchers.
