New R :)
Picking up my new R in rising blue today! Happy days. Got a question re tow bars though. VW could not answer this and I've had alternate views from different sources! Can an R (2015 model registered in 2016) take a tow bar? I've just taken the pre alpina bars off my old kermit and there is a nasty rust spot i didnt know about until now..... Appreciate any thoughts.

As said, no. Scirocco is not homologated / type approved to tow, hence why no towing weight is specified in any documentation.
