Rear strut brace

Post by Minch »

Looking at deleting the rear sears.

Anyone installed a strut brace? And could suggest a brand or where to get one?

Mk5 and Scirocco are same underneath so would fit....

I have a harness bar which I guess is similar to a strut brace.
Better off fitting stiffer ARBs.

Alex at AKS made mine.
We didn't take measurements so you would need to strip the rear of the car and measure it. We drilled mounting holes into the strengthened part of the chassis.

I still think you'd be better off with upgraded roll bars as it didn't really make too much difference in my car.

if you put rear anti roll bars only does it improve turn in/understear?
