Advice New Scirocco R Owner !?!

Post by Jacko92 »

Morning guys,

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend and it didn't feel as short as mine.

I picked up my Scirocco R at the weekend and wanted some advice on things to do with it as i have a few ideas of my own. It is 2013 Scirocco R 8k miles. It is Black with Black leather interior with:
Cruise
Parking Sensors
Heated Seats... it basically has 90% of extras.

The alloys i have on it are very nice but i want black alloys on it due to it being black with the rear windows tinted etc... Would you rewcommend me getting the alloys it has on it painted or saving up and buying some black alloys of another brand to make sure I do not de value the car at all? What would you reccomend? Also any advice of lowering the car and getting the front windows tinted slightly at all (do you know how much is allowed etc)

Any advice is welcome... need some ideas.

Cheers
Jack :)

Very nice... any ideas on how much that would cost? I'm only 22 too so i am sure insurance will jump when any mods go on it  !

If i am going to do it i reckon i should get another set... some sets on ebay like the ones bellow... not sure if they will be any good though!?! Or will they give in after a year or so... or damage my car!?!!

Also i love the sounds it makes... but i want it louder. Any advice?!

Assuming your current wheels are OEM, get them painted.

Otherwise you'll end up running an inferior wheel to the ones you have already bud. The OEM wheels will likely be lighter, stronger and harder-wearing than any replicas.
