2015 Rocco R Turbo issue

Has anybody out there had any problems with the turbo on their R?
I had a strange occasional noise coming from mine for a few weeks, so took it into the stealers for a look see.
They've done their 'diagnostics' and it turns out I need a new turbo!
Thank god for extended warranties is all I can say.
She's a 2015 model with only 25,000 on the clock, I've had her for 18 months.

Sorry to hear about your turbo issue, i heard the engines/turbos are normally very reliable; glad you had the warranty ! Just to quickly ask if you had it all done, all is well and you are enjoying your R once again.

very surprising the turbo has failed already.

I think vw can often mis-diagnose an issue and change the bigger parts to get around the issue.

at least its not coming out of your pocket!
