Hi

Anyone using a leaf blower to dry their car quickly and safely? Saw a couple of videos online and looks the business.

I have put a lot of work into getting the paint up to the standard i am happy with and would like to keep it swirl free!

Bet the Neighbors will think i am insane.

Yeah it works. Also try using the sheeting method if you don't already. take the end off the hose and if you've got a good sealent/wax on there. you will hardly have any water left to dry.

Better off buying a pet drier from Amazon.
Leaf blower isn't the best tool.

Hmm never thought of this. Usually use a microfiber drying towel and never had any issues

You also have the option of DI water. Buy a filter and resin and you don't have to dry your car at all. reducing the risks of swirls/marks a little.

Another option I use is a a drying towel such as chemical guys woolly mammoth (its huge!) and a drying aid or spray sealant. I use Carpro Reload cut 1:1 with water. It leaves a super slick, super glossy finish.

Waffle weave drying towels work for me - fast and effective. As long as your wash technique is good and the car is actually clean then they don't cause marring. I suppose blowers may help drive water out of hidden spots, but I've never felt the need to add this kind of complexity.
