Snr Software Developer - mostly writing software for Banks and other Financial Institutions (those still in business).

It was my first job after graduating, been doing it 4 years now, but feel like a career/job change - any suggestions?

I'm an Offshore Surveyor for a Subsea Construction Company. I basically spend 6 months a year on a 5 week on/off rotation working on boats round the world helping with the installation of pipelines and structures used in the offshore oil and gas industry.

It's a great job when I'm off for 5 weeks at a time and not too bad when I'm away for 5 weeks. I get to travel to a variety of places. This year I've managed to go to Brazil, France, Holland, Norway and will be in US next month and Australia before the end of the year!

System Administrator for consultancy company work on different clients' sites, currently in the City.

Some of the jobs sound great, mine is very boring and I can't wait for a career change or very early retirement ;-)
