Insurance Renewal

Post by jonomitch87 »

Well, it's that dreaded time of year again... and after a couple of hours on the phone/internet, and a BIG smiling face later :) , I've gone with Chris Knott!

For comparison sake: I'm 27 yrs old = 10 Years driving experience. 9 yrs NCB, 1x SP30 Ticket and a home-owner. Mrs is also on the insurance (6yrs NCB).
2008 2.0 GT TSI (200) Manual.

Renewal through a broker: £449 - Marker Study (no mods)

Now quotes with my modifications added;
Stage2 Bluefin remap, T/B exhaust system, Induction Kit, lowered, Dectane tail lights, Ed35 Rep 18" wheels in gun-metal grey and black VW badges

Current Broker - £Refused to insure
Admiral - £632
Sky - £610
Greenlight - £489.35
Chris Knott £455 = That's only £6 more to add the mods from my original insurance renewal price. :D :D :D

(All prices include protected no claims, like-4-like on mods, legal cover, etc etc)

Now, I know this isn't going to be the same for everyone, as there is many more factors that play a part, other than the ones I have listed.... But, I'm over the moon!! Thanks Chris Knott!!

RECOMMENDED!! Really nice sales assistants too :yes:
