Delivery Times

Post by skippy »

We often talk on the forum about delivery lead times and so on. Yesterday I ordered a mirror from a furniture store, nothing fancy - costing £59. I expected them to say it would be in store to collect in say 2 weeks time. I was gob-smacked when the lady said, oh yes - the manufacturer says about 12-14 weeks on that one!

As we wanted it, we ordered it (payment required in full of course!), so I should get my non fancy mirror in June!! :eyepop:

For that kind of lead time, I'd be hoping I get the SAME mirror Snow White had on her wall (or was it the witch's wall?)

LOL - indeed. As it turned out, the mirror arrived within 5 weeks, but I could not pick it up for another 4! It is now hanging up in our living room!
