Are there any Architects/Technicians among us?

Post by sparki »

Afternoon everyone,

As the title states are there any Architects or Architectural Technicians/Technologists among us?

The reason I ask is I myself have just completed a degree in Architectural Technology and I am currently looking for a job. I received a high grade and have 15 months experience working in practice both in the office and on site. I have received an excellent reference from my previous employer but unfortunately they are not in a position to take me on full time.

I have done the usual of scouring the internet and applying to all relevant positions as well as joining recruitment agencies specialising in construction. The majority of the jobs advertised/available seem to require 3-5 years of experience or are senior in nature with nothing at graduate entry level.

So my question is are there any of you working in practice that are aware of any jobs at present or upcoming that a graduate could apply for?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mark
