Hey!
Im going mad trying to troubleshoot this 09' , cannot for the life of me get the windscreen washer pump working.
It suddenly stopped working a while ago,and i didnt really think about it because i use the car so rarely, but now it wont pass inspections because of this so i really have to fix it.
So far ive tried 3 different pumps (Original, cheap chinese replacement, and a used pump pulled from scrapyard, all working fine when supplied with 12v)
I suspected corrosion on the connecting plug, so i cut off the original one and soldered in a new one, still no luck
All fuses checked, although its hard to find a decent map/chart of the fuses for this car.
VCDS shows this code:
00156 - Control Circuit for Windshield Washer Pump
009 - Open or Short to Ground
02398 - Control Circuit for Rear Windshield Washer Pump
009 - Open or Short to Ground
Front and rear are on the same pump i believe.
When i pull the stalk inside the car to spray washer fluid, nothing happens, every 5 pulls the headlight washers come on, so the stalk is operating fine.
Does anyone have any clue for what else i can check?

Thanks!
Ive already read through that, but i believe in our roccos we dont have a fuse dedicated for the pump, and also this guy just changed his pump, which ive already done 2 times with no success.
All fuses in cabin pulled one-by-one and checked.
Relays marked 404 in J519 checked and both "clicks" when applied power so i guess they are working, didnt check outputs on relays though.
Guess i have to inspect every inch of the wire from J519 to pump

I have a spare set of switches/ levers you can have to swap out. Let me know if you need them[emoji41][emoji106]
