Connecting my phone.

Post by chezfoggy »

Hi all,

I have just purchased a 2009 Scirocco. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and want to pair it so I can receive calls when driving. When I press the phone button on my system it just muted the music. I've searched foe the car using Bluetooth and nothing comes up. I've googled it and can't find anything helpful at all. I'm not tech savvy and I think this is out of my league! I don't know what else to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated as I drive a lot for work and hands free would be ideal for me.

TIA

Bluetooth wasn’t standard on the early models. Probably not fitted in your car.

As said above Bluetooth was a cost option up until late 2011 on the Scirocco. If it is fitted the module is located under the driver's seat in a polystyrene box. Looks as though your car doesn't have it but it can be retro-fitted. There are numerous threads on this forum on what is involved.
