CCZ suitable engine swap

Hello to everyone!

I'm looking for some advise, I have a 2010 2.0 TSi CCZ Scirocco and the engine requires changing (hole in block!) Could I fit a CAW or different engine code from a similar aged car, and just swap all the electronics from my old engine to the replacement? I find it hard to believe the cylinder heads, blocks & internals are all different from code to code, surely it would be to big an increase in manufacturing costs?

Steve - just wondering if you ever found a suitable replacement for the CCZ - currently going through this same issue
