HELP - Keyfobs not working, locked out!

Post by AllyFalkirk »

Hey guys, currently out with the car at the shops and neither key fob is working letting me into the car. Lights on fobs are flashing so not batteries I don’t think. Totally stumped and stuck!

Any ideas! It’s a 2010 2.0 TSI.

Cheers

Found a vid on you tube and found the covered key slot next to handle !! Managed to sync keys too. Panic over!

Glad you got it sorted. Happened to me once but it turned out I was trying to get into the wrong car as someone kindly parked an identical car in the same vicinity I had parked mine :)

Lol @ Bob. How do you re-sync the keys BTW?

I think I did it by chance! Key in the ignition and random pressing of buttons. Had it with a Vauxhall years ago and pressing open and close buttons together whilst in the ignition did it. I think it was opening the boot that might have done it as it worked at that point! Not a terribly technical answer sorry!!!!!
